Solis Version 2.0 Available

Version 2.0.0.0 is available today for order and download via your Solis Web Update utility (Start -> All Programs -> Solis Point of Sale -> Solis Web Update).

The 2.0 version changes the way employees are assigned to invoices for commission purposes, plus a few other enhancements:

The enhancements in this version, in no particular order:

  • Transactions - Modified the transaction process to allow discounts on sale of gift card. For example, you may now sell a $50 gift card and discount it 50% ($25) and collect $25 dollars. The gift card will still have a $50 balance even though only $25 was collected.
  • Transactions - Added Cash In/Out feature to the transaction misc. menu. This allows you to increase/decrease your cash drawer total without affecting revenue totals. A security audit entry will be made for each cash in/out that occurs.
  • Reports - Customer Targeting List added. Allows you to create a CSV export file or print labels for customers with specific packages and/or service purchase history.
  • Editor - Added reassign commissioned employee function to the editor. You may select a specific invoice or services on invoices to reassign. A security audit entry will be made for every reassignment.
  • Transactions - Added commission employee to the transaction funds screen. Employee will default with the currently logged employee but may be assigned to any active employee. This does not override any assigned service employees on the invoice.
